Financial Intelligence

EinsteinHow does an average person catapult his finances to the level where they no longer have to worry about money? The good news is it’s all about thinking. The bad news is, for some people, thoughts are the hardest things to change.

Money Does Matter

Money does matter whether we like it or not. Money plays a significant role in our lives. It affects our quality of life and lifestyle. If money weren’t important, people wouldn’t constantly talk about it.

Money gives options. The more options we have the more freedom we have. Thus, money gives life options. When we have money, we can choose to spend our time on things that we truly deeply value. Therefore, money is freedom of choice, freedom of time, freedom of mobility. This is true whether we like it or not.

Money Is Not Good Or Evil

It’s very important to recognize that money is not good or evil. Money is just money. It’s how we use it that determines if it’s of help or hindrance.

More Money Does Not Solve Money Problems

Everybody has money problems. The quality of these problems depends on what we’re trying to accomplish. Be it survival or freedom, more money will not solve our problems. We tend to think that hard work or high education will solve our money problems but unfortunately they can’t do that. Unfortunately, our schools teach very little about money.

The lack of money is an effect, not a cause. Too much money is an effect as well, not a cause. The cause is always the same: financial intelligence.

What Is Financial Intelligence?

Financial intelligence is the ability to handle money problems. It is our ability to make money, protect it, use it wisely, and leverage it. Most people think that their problem is that they don’t make enough money when in reality their problem is how they spend it. Through improved financial intelligence an average person can escape 9-5 and start spending time on more valuable things.

What Makes The Difference?

Most people ask what they should DO with their money. This is not the right question. The question is how they should THINK about money. Learn to think about money in the same way as the rich do, and you will eventually have freedom that the rich have.
